Miser Lighting was founded in 2004 to address several major problems facing customers of industrial, commercial, institutional and infrastructure lighting systems today:

Unique product features include an induction lamp/ballast (59 patents) that is engineered to last 100,000 hours, reduce energy consumption by 30-70% and feature instant-on and instant-restrike capabilities.

Miser Lighting designs, assembles, markets and distributes "Energy-Efficient Lighting Solutions". Principal among these is a line of commercial and industrial Miser Highbay Luminaires, Cobrahead Street Miser, based on outdoor street lighting and Decorative Post Top Miser luminaires, based on outdoor parking lot and walkway applications consisting of induction lamps, electronic ballasts and integrated lighting controllers.

Specific luminaires will be available in several indoor and outdoor (120 volt) models with assorted wattages from 40 W, 80 W, 120 W and 200 W. Miser will also be marketing 12 volt and 24 volt direct current 40 W lamps for specialty applications like garden/decorative lighting, and off-grid applications like campers, boats and cottages.

In addition, Miser Lighting provides bundled services that combine energy-efficiency opportunities with operational and maintenance improvements.
